Conducting experiments to study mechanisms of penetration of soluble filter cake components.

We are looking for a research assistant (m/f/d) for the area of surface filtration in the Gas-Particle Systems group at the Institute of Mechanical Process Engineering and Mechanics.

Start of work: As soon as possible
Duration of the employment contract: By arrangement
Scope of work: 30+ hrs/month by arrangement

The diverse scope of duties includes but is not limited to:

  • Carrying out experiments on a test stand for testing filter cartridges
  • Support in the evaluation of experiments (mainly in Excel)
  • Support in the commissioning of test rigs (e.g. test setup for dispersion and investigation of inert, dry aerosols)
  • Support in routine work for the preparation and post-processing of experiments (e.g. mixing solutions, weighing filters)

In addition to gaining an insight into scientific work, specialist knowledge can be gained in the field of mechanical process engineering, in particular surface filtration and particle measurement technology.
Previous technical knowledge is not required. A clean and careful way of working and responsible work are required.
