Development of a measurement and control systematology for particle separators that automatically adapts to changing requirements

Since today's process dusts in mechanical separation processes are becoming increasingly complex and changing materials and processing parameters actually require constantly changing extraction criteria, dry dust removal equipment should offer a high degree of flexibility as well as real-time process monitoring. However, monitoring of the separators condition is currently done via less informative parameters such as fan or filter differential pressure.

The aim of this research project is to develop a measurement and control system for particle separators that automatically adapts to changing requirements. This system will record and process all the necessary process parameters during operation in order to use these parameters and a digital twin to predict future behavior and react accordingly.
