Short clip of the vortex chamber of an innovative wet scrubber with 3D printed nozzles

Short clip of the vortex chamber of an innovative wet scrubber in the laboratory of the institute. The recognizable yellow and grey wet scrubber nozzles are 3D printed. High vorticities of the water can be seen. Also falling droplets (which were separated in a downstream installed deflection separator) are visible. The operating parameters are a volume flow of 6000 m3/h and a total amount of water within the vortex chamber of 120 L. In addition a mass flow of 140 g/h of the test dust Mikhart MU08 (calcium carbonate (x50,3 = 0,9 μm)) is applied.
